NC Cyber Academy is a pioneer in North Carolina online education, one of just two virtual charter schools authorized by the state legislature in 2014 and launched as a pilot program in 2015. Originally founded as North Carolina Connections Academy, the school rebranded as NC Cyber Academy in 2019–2020, embracing greater local control to better serve North Carolina families.

Today, NC Cyber Academy delivers a dynamic, personalized education to K–12 students in all 100 counties across the state. We don't just teach; we tailor every learning experience to the whole child, nurturing academic excellence alongside social and emotional growth.
