Attendance
Parents and guardians can use the Absence Request tool to notify the office in advance when their student will not be in school. After the request is processed, Campus creates an attendance record for the student.
Parents can submit an excused absence via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal utilizing the directions below. These have also been posted on our website and in the Canvas Parent and Learning Coach orientation course.

Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal

In the left-hand menu, select "More".

Then select Absence Request

4. Select "View Request"

5. Click on the "New" button

6. Mark the student for whom you are submitting the absence request.
7. Select the reason the student will be absent from the Excuse dropdown list.
8. Select the Absence Type.
Student Check-In
All students in grades K-12 are required to "check in" for each of their individual classes via the Campus Student Portal on Fridays.
When a student logs in to the Student Campus Portal, if they are in the Blended Learning Group assigned to be fully virtual (asynchronous) that day, they will see a yellow flag at the top of their portal screen. Directions for how to check in are as follows:

Select the NCEdCloud icon

3. Select the "NCSIS" icon to log in to the Infinite Campus Student Portal

4. Click on "Check in" on the "Today" screen.
5. Click the arrow next to the class they want to check in for.
6. Click "Yes, I'm here"
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each class.
*As a reminder, this process is only required for Friday attendance.
