NC Cyber Academy's REACH Team

Our REACH Team is dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being and safety of every student. REACH stands for:

  • Recognize warning signs
  • Engage with empathy
  • Ask and assist those at risk
  • Cultivate resilience and communicate hope
  • Help students access care

This team is made up of school counselors, school social workers, and school psychologists who are trained to support students and families through difficult moments.

If you are concerned about your child's safety or risk to themselves or others, please contact a member of the REACH Team right away.

If your child is in immediate danger — expressing thoughts of suicide with a plan, or showing signs of imminent risk — call 911 immediately. You can also call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) for 24/7 support.
