Technology Acceptable Use Policy
North Carolina Cyber Academy is committed to providing students with safe, reliable, and responsible access to school-issued technology and digital learning resources.
The Technology Acceptable Use Policy outlines the responsibilities of students, parents and guardians, learning coaches, and staff when using NC Cyber devices, software, internet services, Canvas, communication platforms, and other educational technology. It also includes guidelines for caring for school-issued laptops, protecting privacy, reporting technical issues, and understanding prohibited uses and potential consequences for policy violations.
Parents, guardians, learning coaches, and students should review the policy together and ensure that all expectations are understood and followed throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
Need technical assistance? Contact NC Cyber Technical Support at 888-846-2998, Option 2. Technology issues that prevent a student from participating in school should be reported within two school days.
